Our cummerbund reinforcement for the MOBAST body armor system has been specifically developed to elevate the comfort and functionality of existing equipment to a new level. It is intended for users who rely on maximum stability, optimal load distribution, and reliable performance in operational environments.
The Reinforcement element can be easily threaded into the original MOBAST cummerbund and integrates seamlessly into the existing structure. This solution significantly increases the stability of the cummerbund, especially when pouches and additional gear are mounted. Weight is distributed more evenly, pressure points are reduced, and the strain on the wearer is noticeably minimized—even during extended periods of use.
Another key advantage is the improved fixation of the soft armor. It is securely held in place and can no longer shift or sag.
Despite the added stabilization, the original quick-release system remains fully intact and unrestricted in its functionality. No modifications to the body armor are required, making integration particularly user-friendly.
The cummerbund stiffener is therefore the ideal addition to the MOBAST system—offering greater control, enhanced comfort, and improved operational efficiency.
